Quadriceps Strain (Torn thigh muscle)

Quadriceps muscle strain involves tearing of the muscle fibers, to a greater or lesser degree depending on the level of pathology. This causes pain during stretching, contraction and palpation of the front thigh. This condition usually occurs during acceleration, high speed movements or sudden changes in direction.

Hamstring Strain (Torn muscle in the back thigh)
