Kaz Kikuchi
Business Development - Japan
Born and raised in Japan, Kaz played soccer competitively throughout his school years and in 2006, he received his Bachelor of Physical Education in Tokyo. Upon graduation, Kaz spent three years working in a sales position that supported the career development of Japanese business professionals. He enjoyed his job but something was missing, and after several months of self-discovery and career exploration, Kaz came across the idea of physiotherapy as a profession. Being a physiotherapist aligned with what he was looking for, and in 2009, Kaz moved to Canada to pursue his dream. The journey to becoming a physiotherapist took longer than initially anticipated, but every step of the way made him stronger as a person and fuelled his desire and passion to work between Canada and Japan and bridge the gap that exists in the healthcare field. In 2018, Kaz completed the Master of Physiotherapy program at McGill University and he is ready and excited to bring the world-leading research-based education and knowledge of running injuries to Japan.
